my artists’ pilgrimage has traversed through my childhood bedroom, cutting fashion magazines into collages, to undergraduate studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and now arriving at an Associates Degree in Fashion Design. having re-transplanted my roots into the chaotic landscape of Los Angeles in 2017, i bring with me the industrious spirit that propels my endeavors, the living embodiment of divergent cultures, and the audacity to infuse them into my creations. i invite you to venture further, and partake of my intuitive, intentional expression of a design style that correlates the cerebral with the tangible.

Hermonie Byrdb is an interdisciplinary artist living in Los Angeles, CA.

She studied sculpture & philosophy at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
She is a dancer when she is dancing in the LA Butoh collective Neoma.

Hermonie is an epistemic agnostic, meaning she pits the perceived infallibility of certainty against the enigmatic fluidity of truth. Her analytical examination of aesthetics and passionate diligence to create are the cornerstones of her work as an artist and designer. Earnestness and honesty motivate Hermonie to shun the status quo and embrace her authentic self.
